    Pros

    Good entering point for getting into finance plus technology industry if that's your desired career path. Your boss may be even younger than you. many locations. it had free company picnic every year.

    Cons

    Lack of opportunities.
    High turn-over rate for certain technology departments because company just cannot keep good people.

    Advice to Management

    management needs to focus like what they used to (prior to 2002). company really needs to invest on new technologies before it's too late.

    No longer under private equity ownership

    Cons

    Revolving door of management and strategy, no consistent business plan. Conglomerate of independently functioning legacy companies who often compete int he same space and have large overlap of resources.

    Advice to Management

    Develop a consistent and clear strategy to the market, invest in research and development, and eliminate silos of ownership.

    Pros

    I liked the work, but the level of support was stressful.

    Cons

    The company did nothing to allow for alleviation of stress. No reason for reduction of force was given. No indication of insufficient job performance was given. No warning.

    Rigorous code review and coding standards, and a well structured automated build and code depot.

    Cons

    Very insular group, not much room for upward mobility. Software products were clean but failed to maintain traction in the marketplace.

    Good benefits. Decent salaries and bonuses (when paid).

    Cons

    Management is running the organization for the sole purposes of cashing out PE Firms.

    Pros

    The pay and benefits were above average compared to other financial service firms in the Saint Louis area. The also had a very liberal vacation plan.

    Cons

    Management turnover as well as the bankruptcy of Bridge trading led to many layoffs and firing. The compensation package offered to those let go was sub-par

    Advice to Management

    Bridge management did not appreciate diversity nor encourage new ideas from its employees. In the trading department, management was not transparent on why certain decisions were made
