I have been working at Sundance Resort part-time

    Pros

Very friendly, cooperative and helpful staff. Good management. Relaxed atmosphere but rules and expectations are still clear. Super peaceful environment

    Cons

It's a resort, so business is definitely seasonal, but as long as your ok with the quiet times, the busy times will be worth it

I worked at Sundance Resort part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a great company to work for they take good care of employees, they are very well organized and create a fun working environment. They fed us petty well too
Best part by far is the season pass and discounts to every part of the resort

    Cons

As a dishwasher you are the grunts of the kitchen. The hours were not so good working til sometimes 3 in the morning, which is fine if its your only job

    Pros

Beautiful scenery, free soda, scenery, free soda

    Cons

Unappreciated by management. Often expected to perform miracles with no support, inadequate tools, lack of planning. Expectations of employees was not commensurate with compensation. You really expect me to give a crap when you are not paying me squat.

    Advice to Management

Be honest and up front during interviews. Be honest about wages, expectations, work hours. Do not mislead potential employees into thinking they are "guests". You have an extremely high turnover for a reason. No communication between people making plans & those implementing them.

I worked at Sundance Resort part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you're a frequent snowboarder, skier, or mountain biker then its a great place to work. Season pass plus the discounts on gear are really nice. Lots of great coworkers.

    Cons

Its seasonal. There are almost no opportunities to move up in the company. Management is petty and almost childish at times. Don't expect any raises unless you're in management. I was frequently told by HR and management to just be glad that I have an opportunity to work in such a beautiful place. They work you until you hate the place and then replace you.

    Advice to Management

Employees are people too. You can't expect them to loyal or give their best effort to a company that treats them the way they're being treated.
