It's all what you make of it

      May 12, 2021 - Sales Representative

      Pros

      1) The money--There is truly an UNLIMITED amount of money you can make as a Sales Rep here. 2) The hours--Tues through Friday late afternoon and evenings allows for free time in the mornings and early afternoons, to sleep in, run errands, exercise, whatever you want! Saturdays you do work but then you have a longer weekend than any 9 to 5, Mon to Fri job! Your weekend would be Saturday evenings through Tuesday 2:30 pm. That is almost a 3-day weekend. 3) The relaxed atmosphere--Great music playing all the time, no stuffy cubicles, a lot of down-time to do what you want (watch movies, make phone calls, chat with coworkers, eat, etcetera.

      Cons

      1) The money--You have to be good at budgeting your money, because the money is not guaranteed. It's commission based so it all depends on how many sales you get, paycheck to paycheck. But as long as you are aware of that, and plan accordingly, you should do fine. 2) The hours--There is NO closing time. You are there until your last customer/client leaves. Once you have no more clients to see, you can have an early evening and get home before 8:30. But if you are still working, there is no end-time to what time you leave. As long as you realize and accept that this is not a 9 to 5 job, you should be fine. 3) The relaxed atmosphere--If you are not self-driven or self-managing person, the balance of who does what and when can tip.

      Fast Paced Fun

Feb 16, 2021 - Administrative in Whitehall, PA

      Pros

The administrative role at Sundance can be very fast-paced. There's a bit of the learning curve to the software they use for contracts and client tracking, but if you're tech savvy, you'll pick it up within a couple of weeks. Fun environment with lots of laughs and working with people you'll want to spend time with even outside of work. Management is very good about answering questions promptly, and you never feel like you're left to your own devices to figure stuff out. Very lax environment with good people and fantastic on-the-job training. Fairly easy job once all the software and contract details are learned and very stress free. The work-life balance is better than other jobs I've held, with plenty of time to spend with my family or to go out with coworkers and friends. The best part is that you get a package of your own to go on vacation with at your leisure just for being an employee!

      Cons

The hours aren't for everyone, since the offices are mainly open during afternoon/evening shift. The only exception to this is Saturdays meaning every weekend is a turnaround shift, which can feel exhausting until your body gets used to it. The hours for a full-time employee vary and can sometimes not even get up to 35 hours in a week which can be rough especially when you're paid hourly. On top of that, the health benefits are higher than any other company I've worked for, so be sure to budget that out on top of your hourly rate to be sure you are still getting a paycheck that suits your needs.

      Great culture at Sundance Vacations

      Pros

Benefits, nice job morale , and decent earning potential

      Cons

-Low commissions -Very low base pay (minimum wage) -Should offer more vacation time -Beware of chargebacks; this happens when the company takes money you've earned out of your check due to a client cancellation. Sundance Vacations usually keeps the deposit the client put down though. -Payroll sometimes "forgets" to pay you on deals you've written

      Pros

-Helpful bosses -Lots of opportunity to make money if you can sell -Trained well before starting

      Cons

-Company seems to be disorganized and problem prone when it comes to technology -Hourly would be great but they kept cutting hours (less then 5 hours of work some days) -Were told to follow the system but when a supervisor messes up their part and take your lines, you are left not knowing what to do -A vacation company but you get 5 days off a year
