    Good work life balance.
    Best place to work during mid career stage.
    Traditional company with good culture and working environment.

    Cons

    Wierd HR policies.
    Salary below par.
    No recognition of good resources.
    Poor remuneration.
    No cafeteria or any food facilities available.

    Advice to Management

    Dont lose good resources, recognition needed.

    *Great opportunity to work across different functions.
    *Most supporting Management
    *Will teach you value driven career path

    Cons

    *30-40% Less salary compared to the industry
    *Follower (That too really slow, almost 5 years behind industry) in terms of technological adoption

    Advice to Management

    *Reconsider the salary structure as i see that the people here are too talented & boomin companies will just poach them out with outstanding packages.
    *After doing the hard job of developing one of the best workforce in retail finance dont shy away from getting technology the front seat for the next 2 decades.
    *If your internal IT team cannot match the pace of technology growth in the market then please get external vendors onboard

    Sundaram finance provides a good learning platform
    Work life balance is more as there will be very few overtime hours

    Cons

    Salary is low when compared to industry standards
    It takes a lot of time to move high up the ladder

    Pros

    More comfortable than other NBFC's, less pressure.

    Cons

    Its completely values oriented and service oriented.
    You give your 8 hrs time to company perfectly.... you feel satisfy with what you are getting.

    Advice to Management

    Please look into the employee talent and knowledge while you finalizing Appraisal.
    Of course experience should be considered but.......... first preference is Talent /knowledge. As per my knowledge. Then only the lower management people will learn

    Blame-Game, Politics, Ego and misunderstanding among team members. Dominating Nature in superiors.

    Change the Attitude of the superiors, working Culture, Adapt to new technology.!

    Having good customer service , Customer satisfaction is very High , Good Brand Image in Market

    Cons

    1 Personal Growth is very low
    2 No Clarity of Internal policies
    3 Too Many Bosses
    4 No Transparent appraisals ,Done only on face to face basis
    5 Very Conservative
    6 So much work pressure
    7 No separate departments Business collections operations and customer service to be taken care by single employee which is so pathetic
    8 Very Week in digital marketing
    9 Very low salary compared to industry

    Advice to Management

    1 Pls change with the changing scenario
    2 Separate employees for every vertical at branch level
    3 One boss should be there
    4 Transparent Appraisal System should be in place

    High standards of ethics, morale.
    Gives room to work in your ways
    Not much of pressure
    Good brand (currently).
    Customers will be for us. (employees might not be)

    Cons

    Politically Driven
    Bad Salary compared to market
    Too much of hand holding
    No grown. Each and every promotion minimum takes 4-5 years even for the best performer
    Not at all employee friendly though they are customer friendly. - Saturdays working, Restrictive access to information, No automation, old school
    Surprisingly there is no marketing team

    Advice to Management

    It is not only important to be pro customer. It is important to be pro emplyees aswell.
