I have been working at Sunoco part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you have a good manager your job will be great! The hours can be nice, and sometimes the customers are fun to interact with.

    Cons

Managers change constantly, causing major problems. Managers will push all their work off on others, and blame everyone for things that are their fault.

    Advice to Management

Get your job done, don't push it off on others.

    I worked at Sunoco full-time

    Pros

As an employee, flexible scheduling. 2 weeks paid vacation after one year full time.

    Cons

If you are looking for a career in management, keep looking and do not choose this route. This was the most unrewarding and unfulfilling career I have ever had. . Given vacation and sick days, but cannot ever take it. Work an unheard of amount of hours to the point of severe sleep deprivation. For an employee, not bad if you like doing the job of 3 because they are never staffed. Their training is a joke. If you like to voice your opinion, this is not the place. They do not care what you think.

    Advice to Management

Either put up and shut up or get out. Seriously, if they do not like your ideas/opinions ,you will suffer retaliation. There are much better jobs out there, do not be afraid to look before it's too late. Quit babying your staff because you fear they will quit. They are going to quit either way. Reward for extra efforts is fine, but do not go beyond that.

I worked at Sunoco full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Only benefit is the free refills on fountain soda and coffee.

    Cons

No discount, crappy insurance, even though I'm classified as full time I've been only getting 20 hours the last month, no room to move up in the company, and just a horrible place to work.

    Advice to Management

If an employee is full time by law you have to give them full time. Maybe if things were better the turnover wouldn't be so high.

I have been working at Sunoco full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It is a good company looking to go into a managerial position, because they promote from within and take their time to train.

    Cons

Its only good for new managers because they increase your pay, managers with experience are not considered by experience.

    Advice to Management

Corporate decisions and changes have been done based 100% on numbers with out regarding how much they have affected the employees; who are the ones that have made of this company what it is.
