    Approves of CEO

I worked at Sunrise Greetings (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The benefits are fantastic, and the work environment is really good. The people who work there are great and the product line is outstanding.

    Cons

With work continuing to move back to Kansas City, there is no feeling of stability for the future and the uniqueness that is Sunrise is being lost.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Located within a large college town with ample cultural/entertainment specs
    Honest and hardworking co-workers

    Cons

    Little room for advancement
Continual short-term and damage control focus
    Overwork key employees

    Advice to Management

Habit of over promising and under delivering. Need to make commitments that can be kept without throwing people and resources into chaos. Over reliance on key employees and their skill sets that should they leave the company would make life very difficult for all who remained. Top management decision flip-flopping and wasting employee effort and company money. Lack of hiring and withholding of resources to deprived departments.

I worked at Sunrise Greetings as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

People are great. Funny. Small company feel so you get to know everyone. Good career stepping stone

    Cons

Issues with the big dog parent company. They can be pushy
