I have been working at Sunrun full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great hard working staff, caring management. They truly listen to the field and provide many benefits, and acknowledgements. Its not easy to get vetted to work here, so quality workers are standard! Some of the roles are tough and turn over can be high, but so are the rewards if you work hard. Break room goodies, people oriented, incentives.

    Cons

Often short staffed means those remaining must carry the burden. Some of the roles are physically demanding, but could be made better.

I worked at Sunrun full-time for more than a year

    Pros

None. Clients are not happy and they are turning environment-friendly people into haters.

    Cons

Bad customer service. Clients that see you at the stores complain about the company. The salespeople do not show to the appointments. Salary is $15 per hour but your commute is 3 hours per day or more. The location of Home Depot and other stores are always last train station plus bus plus walking. You end up receiving less than $10 per hour. They will cheat with the commission you take home. In the end,...

    Advice to Management

Change management. Hire quality people that know about sales. Fix systems. Not even the basic software works.

I have been working at Sunrun full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Commission Benefits 401k Stock Friendly Managers . . .. ..... ...... ........ ......... ...........

    Cons

Lead Generation position Rude customers A lot of standing Lack of direction and control Push for numbers I had a lot of HR issues the response time on a wildly inappropriate manager went on for too long. A lot of negative feelings attached to the bad experiences here.

    Advice to Management

Quit telling folks they will make 50,000 when they only make around 35,000 a year. Quit saying in 6 months of work they will be promoted.
