I worked at Sunterra Market full-time

    Pros

The people were amazing and they always had steady hours available

    Cons

Very disorganized, everyone was always running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
They reused old food and didn't clean certain areas of the market often enough.

    Advice to Management

Put more staff on in the busy areas (deli and pizza)

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Good discount on groceries and prepared food.
There are mostly good people working there, making it an enjoyable experience.
    Pleasant regular customers

    Cons

    Often clueless management.
Don't ever expect a raise unless you're a manager or you work in the head office.

    Advice to Management

Put some value and appreciation into your employees. Don't secretly cut hours and try to short people on their time sheets, just because you feel they're not working hard enough. Learn to communicate so people aren't hearing about everything second hand, as you talk behind their backs.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Sunterra Market part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Sunterra has provided a multicultural work environment, dynamic workforce and great benefits to employees.

    Cons

Some or very few workers might just not be working diligently. Most organizations experience the same thing.

    Advice to Management

They should give the right people the potential to grow professionally in their career. Check out workers who are really team payers and give due recognition.

    Advice to Management

Know what you're doing!! So many of you have serious attitude problems and don't know how to properly run/man each section. How can we have confidence in what WE'RE doing when our management is at a total loss...?
