    Pros

Annual training scheme to advance in your career

    Cons

Not a lot of support with mental health

    Advice to Management

Be aware of your teams mental health, too many staff struggle with no support and feel pressured to continue a shift or stay at work when mentally they are exhausted

I have been working at Superdrug part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    * Great staff discount 30% off own brand products and 10% off on any other brands. * Great offers on star buys and £1 commission per Superdrug sim card sold. * Can be promote to team leader quickly by doing minimum 12 hours a week. * Have a central hub to say connected and recognise by the senior management. * If you find a great store manager you are likely to enjoy working there.

    Cons

    * Need to wait 6 months to become assistant manager once you are a team leader. * Low salary for assistant mangers at some store depends on the location. * Not paid for staying behind after the closing time. * Old and slow IT systems are used in small stores which were previously owned by Sainsburys. * No security guard is provided even when store shrinkage is high. * Hiring staff externally instead of... recognise and recruiting staff internally.

    Advice to Management

    * Take care of your employees, your employee will take care of your customers. * Recruit internally. * Diversify your employees in upper senior management i.e. in area manager, regional managers positions.
