I worked at Superior Grocers part-time

    Pros

Hiring process went fast but I never did the job I was hired for....

    Cons

Had me doing maintenance work although I was hired as a cashier. I never worked register. Pay was 10.50. Alot of discrimination.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the discrimination going on in your store. If you hire someone to do a job let them do that job. Don't hire a cashier and have them work as a janitor....

I have been working at Superior Grocers full-time

    Pros

Some great people work here. I have met and worked with some awesome and helpful people at the store level

    Cons

Most of the great workers that I've met have the same complaint. They really do a horrible job of keeping their employees happy. The people that do less work and complain the most tend to make more and have it easier than the hard workers that always show up. You have to be the type of person that is constantly nagging them for what you deserve. If you're not constantly on them until they do something for you, it will never get done. Also no communication between management and constant conflicting ideas from top level management.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better. Be more involved at the store level. Make sure your best employees are happy and making what they deserve. Otherwise you'll just keep looking them to the competition.
