I worked at Superior Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Christmas party, might get lucky working with a team of good people.

    Cons

Lowball pay vs market, few holidays (work on Xmas Eve), overwork employees, low or non-existent raises. Not many opportunities to grow. Seems to not respect their employees and it shows through expectations of performance versus pay, benefits, and recognition. Often prioritizes profit over employees.

    Advice to Management

You expect too much for little in return.

I worked at Superior Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You sit at a desk all day and do basic cubicle activities.

    Cons

    - Not enough pay
    - They don't treat their Latino workers fairly
    - High school environment
    - Promised promotions never go through
    - Incompetent managers/supervisors
    - Racist trainer(s)
    - Disrespectful employees *in general*
    - Unprofessional
    - Tedious and overly-strict rules/expectations in the workplace
    - Inability to use restroom; berated for use during work (even for emergencies)

    Advice to Management

Dear Staff/Management at Superior Group/Conduent in Albany, NY (COLONIE),

Treat your employees with respect and give them an incentive to come back to work. Especially your Latino employees, which you have a lack thereof, since you don't treat them right with your hours; lying to them when you CAN change their schedules. Not giving your employees, especially your ethnic workers, ultimatums when they're no longer able to work the hours you place on them. Overall, that whole call center needs reform. From its management, to the employees that work there.

    Pros

Great lower level employees with awful upper management

    Cons

No work life balance, PTO is minimal and you get reprimanded when you take it, no flexibility, upper management only cares about the people above them, not their employees, over worked, no training, no communication, stuck in the 1980s, culture is not good

I worked at Superior Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    High Pay
    You'll start to work quickly
    They are always hiring
    Benefits: Health, Dental etc

    Cons

    Bad management
Excuses "all the time" for why HR things haven't been done
threats from management and fellow staff members
Benefits: they are way to expensive for what little care they provide.
Long Long Hours. Kiss Family and Friends outside of work good bye

    Advice to Management

Hire people like Jennifer B. Stop lying to staff regrading mistakes in HR paperwork. Stop threatening people that would be great members of the team otherwise. This company is not worth the pain it's causing. You hired us to build this company up. So allow us to JUST DO OUR JOBS! Oh and screen sites for racism better.

I have been working at Superior Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers, family atmosphere, flex schedule, PTO not bad at all

    Cons

company training and continuing training should be better. Types of position you are stuck working sometimes can be a con but part of the business to work on things you don't like. More incentives and perks could be offered to stay competitive with other companies. non compete in place which may hinder your ability to keep growing somewhere else depending on your goals.

    Advice to Management

Take time to train and develop employees. The stronger your employees are the stronger your company is. Take time to connect with your employees. Management can seem disconnected from employees and that may affect culture and ability to feel like they care about company culture and wellbeing.
