The residents (people that actually live there) appreciate the staff. The employeees are very friendly, despite being understaffed and definitely overworked.
Management lacks organization in multiple areas, that result in lack of communication that causes stress on all employees. There was absolutely zero orientation to the position. All they offered was a guided tour of the facility, and they were no forthcoming about the actual demands of the job - I think because they did not have a clue as to what was actually involved. I could not help but feel that it was misrepresented entirely.
Advice to Management
There has simply got to be communication between management and staff in order to accomplish their mission statement. This can not be done if employees are not oriented properly and not given adequate time to learn the position and all the aspects that the job entails.
