A Microcosm of the White Supremacist Patriarchy

    Pros

If you have very little work experience in office settings, have a high threshold for a toxic work environment, and just need a paycheck; it might not be a bad option for you. (I'm not being sarcastic. Those are serious statements. I've noticed that people who are coming from lower-paying and physically demanding industries tend to greatly appreciate working for this company).

    Cons

    - High Turnover: this company is employment-at-will on steroids. There is a constant revolving door of employees. Upper management will tell you that the life cycle of an employee in a branch position is approximately 6 months and somehow everyone is fine with that. People work in a high-stress environment and are constantly in fear of losing their jobs. They went through 3 training specialists in 9 months. -Little to no formal training structure. Little to no job design. They will think of an idea for a position, post it, hire for it, and have no idea what they want that associative to be doing. Then, they'll just fire the new-hire after they've worked for less than a month - No Obvious Pay Structure: Some employees are told that they can not start out as managers and must work as staffing specialists while others are hired directly as managers. These choices have nothing to do with education, skill level, or previous work experience - You will have to fight for your raise. If you are offered a raise of any kind, get it in writing. - What's work-life balance? There were literally times where I as working from 5AM - 7:30 pm and then once I got home still had work to do until I went to sleep. - Office associates are sometimes chosen due to physical aesthetic as opposed to choosing associates according to their ability to effectively do their jobs

    Pros

-I gained Experience in Human Resources which has opened up more career opportunities for me

    Cons

-Management is a joke and extremely unprofessional -Associates (people who come into office looking for work) are generally treated like the scum of the earth -There is little to no training provided -Hostile work environment -Corporate breathes down your neck about everything but doesn't do their own jobs -Promises of bonuses, raises, and promotions when getting the job offer but nothing after that -Being told health insurance is affordable bit it would take more than 20% of my weekly paycheck to pay for family health insurance -If you are a hard worker and strive to be the best you will get fired -They will fire you for literally any reason

    Pros

If you're desperate and need a weekly paycheck, this is a place you can go, as long as you can overlook being treated poorly and yelled at by people who use 'not being politically correct' as a mantra when it's basically just an excuse to be racist, sexist and abusive to its employees.

    Cons

Hostile work environment, unbelievably high turnover for a corporate office, intentionally misled by management, no support and no training or weak training by superiors who have minimal knowledge themselves, corporate training is a joke, you'll be witness to or victim of verbal abuse, especially from the owner who likes to belittle and insult his employees. Women and people of color are treated the worst. No formal review process which means you won't be able to count on a raise if you try to stick it out, inconsistent direction, HR complaints not taken seriously, you'll just be told the company "prides itself in not being politically correct" which is just a thinly veiled way that they justify the inappropriate things that go on there, like sexism, ageism and racism. Criminal behavior is encouraged if they think you won't get caught and it'll make them a quick buck or help them get their hands on competitor materials. The list goes on.

    Be warned!!!

    Pros

They can get you started working the next day

    Cons

Everything else honestly. My very first paycheck for my last job was supposed to be deposited onto a pay card that they supplied to me. They do not know what they're doing at all! The day I was supposed to be paid for the first time,I checked my balance and nothing had been deposited in my account. I went to the surge staffing location that hired me and they didn't have a paper check for me either! They had NO IDEA where my money was or what they needed to do so that I could be paid for my hours. Long story, short...I waited at surge for over 5 hours while they 'tried' to figure out where my paycheck was. They put me at the very end of the line, took more than one break including a full hour for lunch while I was at the office waiting. They did not care I was there or where my money was. I eventually got paid after almost 6 hours but then I got taken off of the project because I missed the first part of my shift because I was at their office waiting to be paid! DO NOT WORK HERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS OFFICE FOR EMPLOYMENT!

    Pros

Absolutely nothing about this place is positive.

    Cons

Everything, literally everything. You will work 50 hours + a week for a $500 paycheck which at the time seems good but trust me it is not worth it. Management is horrible and not willing to help with anything. They are fire happy, do not care about your work life balance and will do anything to get more clients (even if its shady). I was up every single night worrying about if I will have a job in the morning. They do not train you. They will have you watch 2 days worth of videos and expect you to be on your own. No one will succeed here and that is all managements fault. Constantly setting your employees up for failure and enjoying it is horrible. What an absolute piece of work this place is. I am so glad I quit and feel bad for anyone that still works for this company.

    Terrible

    Pros

Getting to work with the clients and being out on the work floor. There is NOT ONE good thing about the company internally.

    Cons

No training, your job is threatened daily, TERRIBLE leadership. No one likes to wake up everyday hating life and hating that they have to report to hell. The moment things don’t go exactly how they want you are worthless, you don’t know what the hell you are doing, you’re just there to collect a paycheck, and the best one yet “your job is so easy a monkey could do your job.” I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I could go on and on but its not worth it because they will go get off to this. No this isn’t out of anger because I got fired, this is the truth and I QUIT.
