    Pros

Positive work environment. People were great and willing to help and train each other.

    Cons

The main business of staffing was a very competitive one and Surrex was having a tough time post financial-crisis.

I worked at Surrex Consulting (More than 5 years)

    Pros

great company, great people, great location, easy place to work, good compensation, good benefits, overall very good experience

    Cons

economy sacrificed the company due to financial leverage, company would have been better off if it had not borrowed so much money to finance receivables

    Advice to Management

less financial leverage, more cash in the bank, less expansion into so many markets, less hiring of account managers, too many divisions including project management and china

I have been working at Surrex Consulting as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Extremely competent, responsive, and kind employees
    Competitive salary
No lack of work to do
No risk of early job termination

    Cons

Low visibility into the company structure
No access to information regarding other positions
No pay for holidays, vacations, etc. (which is standard for a contract position)

    Advice to Management

Pay your contractors for holidays; it's just fair turn of play since most contractors have no ability to work when their parent company is closed and shouldn't be penalized for something they have no control over.

    Pros

At first it was self managed and a great work environment. Good attitudes of Senior Management
Strong earning potential for the well connected, strong bond between associates in most cases

    Cons

No marketing support, No health benefits, a lot of attrition and turnover due to poor hiring decisions, management decisions are often hard line and of late have been critical of performance, senior management definitely has their favorites.
