A Company that actually cares
Sep 22, 2022 - Senior Software Architect in Moreauville, LARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Susco has a lot of very talented employees. The company is dedicated to growing its employees. There is paid training time, access to libraries of training courses, peer learning meetings, and more. The most impressive part is the Individual Development Plan where you are encouraged to track goals for all areas of your life. There is even an application to help you find coworkers that may have expertise in something not work related that you need help in. Avoiding overtime is highly encouraged as they don't want their employees burning out.
Cons
Susco is a software consulting company, so the work pace is fast. This can be good if you like that type of environment, but it would be bad if you like to just coast along.

Most proactive company on employee concerns
Sep 23, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The leadership staff at Susco is incredibly caring and thoughtful towards the needs of all employees. Based on client-demand, Susco's productivity and attention to detail is extremely high. This can be challenging for novices; but again, Susco's attention to employee needs makes this a low-stress goal. In my 20+ years, I have never worked with a company whose leadership team makes a concerted effort to live towards a set of ideals, and actively enables all employees to live towards those same ideals.
Cons
None that I can think of.

Amazing Place for Professional Development
Mar 7, 2022 - Business Growth Specialist in New Orleans, LARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Great leadership team - Great team members - amazing benefits (top of the line equipment, concierge service for all NOLA based employees, company events) - great opportunities for professional development - challenging work - ownership that actually does care about the individual employee
Cons
- very long sales cycle - selling into a historically archaic industry -- upside but also a lot of dinosaurs screaming at the clouds - working within the insurance/disaster response field can lead to some long hours during storm season

One of our core values is teamwork and it shows every day. - Plenty of opportunities for professional and personal development. - Company offers rich benefits to staff. - Work-life balance. - Management listens to and cares about feedback, ideas, etc. - CEO genuinely cares about his staff. - Fun team events, virtual and in-person

The company is growing fast which means things evolve and change. While this is a good thing for both the company and staff, some may find it challenging. I find it rewarding!

The difference between co-workers and colleagues
Mar 3, 2022 - Senior Project ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Susco promotes a growth mindset, challenges its people, and supports them in both their successes and failures. We have regular leadership training where the entire staff participates together, and executive leadership is fully engaged and often share their own experience and where they are trying to grow. This mindset has been transformative for many of our employees and clients.
Cons
Susco is fast paced, and some people find growth challenging. A little discomfort can be very beneficial, but some people don't want to be challenged.

Amazing Culture
Aug 5, 2021 - Full Stack Web Developer in Villa Rica, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There is a phenomenal culture surrounding personal and professional growth and everyone wants to one another. The work/life balance is much better than anything I could ask for. And benefits are by far the most I have ever received from a company.
Cons
Extremely fast paced and you have to be able to quickly switch gears. One day you can be working on one project that is in the middle of its lifecycle, the next day you can be working bug reports for a project that has already been completed, and the next day you can be on-boarding a new client in a language that you're not very familiar with.
