I have been working at Sutherland full-time

    Pros

    None none none none none

    Cons

Slave drivers, horrible management. $12 an hour to defend a bogus non working product. Customers curse you out constantly and management still want you to take a certain number of calls per hour and keep your truck roll rate down which means sending out technicians, after contractor installers install the product carelessly

    Advice to Management

Need to review everything. Money hungry I understand, but try developing your product and training your staff

    Cons

    Pros

    Health Benefits and 401k
Unfortunately I don't have many pros, if you need a job to have something its fine

    Cons

The company initially preaches about internal growth, which can be true for certain programs and you usually can only advance by brown nosing or messing around with higher ups. I received my first check about two weeks late, Nobody knew who I should talk to I just kept being passed around. It's VERY hard to get in contact with HR, and other resources when you would no one had a clue what would be going on. There were always additional task being added to your day with minimal training and no additional pay (I'm not talking minor task). Just as my program managers started pushing everybody the most they sat us down and told us we had two week notice before the program closed some people would be move others wouldn't. My advice to anyone considering working at Sutherland would be if you noticed anything fishy (management whispering, several people leaving, and random meeting with clients) start searching for other work.

    Advice to Management

Sutherland should value its employees more, especially considering when new employees start working there you have new recruits sign a letter saying Sutherland should be there FIRST priority then turn around show that employees are disposable.

    Pros

Strongly promots from within. Offers free learning for all level employees. Mangement works with employees with personal issues and attempts to find the right program fit with the employee.

    Cons

Top heavy upper level managment over hed. Willing to AVP and VPs but not the phone agents who do the actual work.

I have been working at Sutherland full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good insurance benefits all but 401k do not match what u put in.

    Cons

Mortgage dept has lots of leaders but if u have a question they know nothing. And report when coworkers actually have conversations regarding the job itself but u truly have to lead by example.

    Advice to Management

Learn the knowledge before you speak.
