I have been working at Sutherland full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay, benefits, dress code, the job is easy enough, plenty of job advancement, easy to jump from one campaign to the next. My review is about the Metlife part.

    Cons

The hiring process was a mess, though out training they kept moving us room to room (we were left just waiting for what equated to at least 1 full day), out trainer had a guide over 10 years old to teach with.... the favoritism is also an issue which again falls under the professionalism of this place.

I worked at Sutherland full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've never loved a job more. As long as you work hard and take pride in your position, the opportunities are endless. The people there are are amazing, good work is recognized, and you truly receive all that you put in. Eithics are amazing and everyone has equal opportunity.

    Cons

Lack of development for management. Agents are promoted to management positions.. and you can see which managers are receiving development and which ones aren't. A lot of managers aren't equipped with the knowledge they need to effectively coach their team and make an impact on their agents..

    Advice to Management

No employee should have to continually ask for help on how to improve. If a team is trending below goal every month, There is a reason. look to the account manager and find out why assistance isn't being provided where it should be. I was a team manager for nearly 6 months. My account manager didn't meet with me for imporovement opportunities all but maybe 6 times, all of them being nearly 10 minutes and consisted of them just telling me what the focuses are. Asking for help many times but every time the only feedback was, "you're doing fine" and then getting released due to lack of improvement. I loved my job and was truly sad to leave. Telling someone what to do isn't good enough.. people need to be told how in order for accomplishments to be made.
