I worked at Sutherland full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to meet really cool people. It's got a big variety of people working there and most of them are super cool. You also get some gym membership benefits as well as your glasses paid for if your eyesight deteriorates while working there.

    Cons

Bosses are really two-faced; very, very, very corporate; everyone pretends everything is fine, even though everything is absolutely awful; takes forever to fix something that's broken (policies); very little communication from the top (just useless emails about some guy in another country that got promoted to somewhere, honestly why should I care); a lot of obnoxious clients on the phone; policies that don't make sense and you can't explain how they make sense either; very stressful

    Advice to Management

You need to change your whole perspective on how to run a company. This whole 'customer is the best thing in the world and is always right' trash is not getting you anywhere. It's wrong, it doesn't work and it's just your way of sucking up to people to get them to use you.

    Pros

Getting to meet the nice people in the office.

    Cons

Working for Google as a contractor was fun at first, until Sutherland began to slowly take away the perks of the job due to their incompetence of the job qualifications

    Advice to Management

Empower your employees by training them properly. Don't anticipate a job well done, if you don't understand the job itself.
