    Pros

    Health Benefits and 401k
Unfortunately I don't have many pros, if you need a job to have something its fine

    Cons

The company initially preaches about internal growth, which can be true for certain programs and you usually can only advance by brown nosing or messing around with higher ups. I received my first check about two weeks late, Nobody knew who I should talk to I just kept being passed around. It's VERY hard to get in contact with HR, and other resources when you would no one had a clue what would be going on. There were always additional task being added to your day with minimal training and no additional pay (I'm not talking minor task). Just as my program managers started pushing everybody the most they sat us down and told us we had two week notice before the program closed some people would be move others wouldn't. My advice to anyone considering working at Sutherland would be if you noticed anything fishy (management whispering, several people leaving, and random meeting with clients) start searching for other work.

    Advice to Management

Sutherland should value its employees more, especially considering when new employees start working there you have new recruits sign a letter saying Sutherland should be there FIRST priority then turn around show that employees are disposable.

    Pros

Strongly promots from within. Offers free learning for all level employees. Mangement works with employees with personal issues and attempts to find the right program fit with the employee.

    Cons

Top heavy upper level managment over hed. Willing to AVP and VPs but not the phone agents who do the actual work.

I have been working at Sutherland full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I guess to just say you have a job

    Cons

    -So much work
-$12/HR when other companies start at $14 and above doing the same work
    -does not accept doctors notes
-will not allow make up days when sick
-have a fight to use your own PTO.
-PTO time disappears without you using them
-all you hear is "I don't care" for management
-company just does not care for their employees
-being promoted "Ha" trust me it's not based off performances
    -Stressed environment

    Advice to Management

Start caring about your employees and maybe your agents will enjoy working for you. Have updated programs to help your agent assist customers.

I have been working at Sutherland full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a full-time job if you need work it is a place that you can go everyday and draw a paycheck

    Cons

The management is very clicky they only pick their friends to move up there is not good communication they will do all that they can do too keep you down if they don't like you it does not matter what you do as far as your attendance they will look for any reason to fire you a turnover is very high it's not conducive to moving upwards if you go to management it gets worse there's a Snowball Effect when you try to voice your concerns to the upper management

    Advice to Management

Act like you really care about the people that work for you they are the reasons that you have your job they are in a sense your customers you want your agents to have a great attitude with their customers on the phone but then you have a poor attitude with them so basically the agents get the crap from everyone the management and from the customers it's just not fair management is a reflection of the morale morale is a reflection of the management

I worked at Sutherland full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros to working for a company which fosters the kind of environment I was dealing with every day.

    Cons

The supervisors lie and encourage immoral behavior; they enable behaviors which cheat customers of their money. I was constantly told to do things against my job duties and falsely accused of not doing my job. They would argue and fight with me and try to make it seem I caused trouble for them. They literally have zero consciousness for anything they do and zero work ethic. They do mindless things to waste time and simply encourage people to give "no" as the answer to customers for everything. They steal, cheat, and lie. The entire supervisory and HR staff have zero work ethic. I worked harder than anyone else around me and they felt threatened and jealous. They thought I was there to be walked all over. They literally have zero conviction and I hope they all end up with a major lawsuit and in jail for committing and enabling criminal and abusive behaviors.

    Advice to Management

Stop bashing the most competent people who come into their facility. They are jealous of people who pose a threat to them: who are capable and have common decency. These are usually the people who are let go as if the company will survive without the decent, level-headed hard working person who refuses to be stepped on and taken advantage of.
