    Pros

Great people come in everyday and you get to help them in some way

    Cons

It is volunteer work so you don't have enough responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

The interview follows submitting the packet to the volunteer department and once they review it the interview serves to place you in a choosen department.

I have been working at Sutter Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great pay, work with some great nurses on the floor.

    Cons

There is a big divide between people who work on the units and administrative folks and managers who seem to not be as aware as to day to day happenings and needs on the unit.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more and acknowledge hard working employees. Point out the good, not just the bad.

    Pros

Flexible hours and supportive mid-level management

    Cons

Typical of major hospital systems - budget / staffing issues, bureaucracy for some processes that should have been simpler.

    Advice to Management

    None

    Pros

I loved the hiring process- I got in fast, Per Diem, and in less than two months, I was full time w/ benefits (which are great and cheap). Nice facilities, good co-workers, market rate pay for a Technologist. I'm staying.

    Cons

Spotty middle management, but at least they do listen.

    Advice to Management

Do you really need that many middle managers? Maybe things could be more efficient. The company heart and vibe is great, good work!

I worked at Sutter Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some great doctors within the organization. Nice facilities and good hours for patients.

    Cons

Micro-managing at an all time HIGH! Horrible managers that don't really listen to the employees and rather go off of their own agendas. Head management doesn't listen to employees issues and rather would prefer to sweep things under the rug. PTO sucks as well and pay is average. Raises are very minimal (cents)

    Advice to Management

LISTEN to your employees and their issues within the company and stop being so money hungry.

    Pros

They care about their patients. Really.

    Cons

They sometimes go overboard on the AIDET training with employees. One can only role play in so many ways every week.

    Advice to Management

    See above.
