I will be taking over a new team in our call center department at my job this upcoming week. I've been with the company a few years now and something I've noticed is NO ONE uses cameras but I've seen tons of people recommend it for teams. I am thinking of making it a requirement for my new team. I was thinking of starting off with once a week and moving into every other day so that it's not too much change at once. It will only be required for meetings. What does everyone think? Do you do this?

    Pros

Benefits were good for the most part Flexible schedule for appointments Had a steady paycheck

    Cons

Lack of Leadership Management were micromanagers Leadership lacked honesty No room for growth Lack of educational support/growth WFH privacy ( not really) IMO Gossip management gossiped with other co-workers Favoritism within department Benefit didn’t match up to what was on original medical benefits packet. PTO policy didn’t match up with HR policy or department PTO policy. Management took weeks often months to approve PTO Managers would often approve PTO for others who were not in the same department. Co-worker were not reprimanded for creating hostile environments. No mentorship Education reimbursement were note followed per HR policy or would have to provide long essay as to why you wanted to take a class. Nurses who were not bed side nurses were given immediate approval for education benefits.

    Pros

Full Time, Day shift, Monday through Friday, Remote - work from home

    Cons

Hourly not competitive starting from 16.50 per hour to 19.50 per hour DOE. You must be skilled to mange all of the applications at once. 2 Monitors and headset. The changes come daily, we verify insurance, request referrals, request medication refills, message providers, basically 1 person operation and there is about 150 of us from CA, AZ, UT, AR. The pay seems low for all we have to go through. Quality program needs modernization to be patient centered and not box checked.
