    Pros

Responsible gaming - a healthy culture of looking after the customer and putting customer well-being before profits. Fantastic health, family and pension benefits. Strong brands and very good financial status.

    Cons

State owned - normal rules of business does not apply. Compliance, legal and security involved in every decision and project Retail and online divisions do not communicate well, and are in different worlds.

    Advice to Management

Build on the successful cross-functional teams and projects who people from all divisions.

I have been working at Svenska Spel part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a fun job with a lot of fun-loving, out-going people. I hardly had any problems at all with my colleagues. Only with mid-level and high-level managers.

    Cons

Incompetency is not a merit, nor is being a brown-nose. There are some fantastic managers at Casino Cosmopol but they are rarely given a full-time promotion. The values in the company does not feel like they are genuinely belived in, which is sad. The Casino Manager was rarely seen and wasn't very carismatic when he was.

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation and promote staff on merit. You should also work on the identity problems where mid-level managers feels threatened by employees with higher competency. Especially when you deal with a lot of university students who work part-time. They are a resource, not a threat.

    Pros

Work with well established products that are know to a large percentage of the Swedish population. Ok salary and an overall friendly company.

    Cons

Since it's owned by the government things go slowly sometimes. Also restricted by somewhat arbitrary regulations. a bit too much inside-out thinking

    Advice to Management

More clarity in the goals and purpuses.
