    Advice to Management

Keep inspire the employees and be open for changes, invest more in technology and innovation, the last app release was not very smooth.

    I worked at Swedbank full-time

    Pros

Smart colleagues that you can learn from; nice office; good microclimate; gym and canteen in the building; a lot of opportunities to learn (e-learnings, internal trainings and coaching, learning from specialists from different areas); open-minded management board.

    Cons

Everyone is too specialized in their own area thus you can get bored quite quickly in your role. Processes still are too slow and bureaucratic. Sometimes it takes too much time and formal stuff to get your idea to execution.

I have been working at Swedbank (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everything you expect to get from a big corporation.
    Good base salaries.

    Cons

Despite some efforts, work environmet seems very outdated. Work culture is a bit old fashioned, all the internal IT systems look like ... . As an english speaking exapt it's hard to use it.

There is a minority of people who really are eager to DO or BUILD something cool and innovative, but the majority is more than ok with it's current status.

    Too many useless long meetings.

Developers are completely separated from business,, which is a disaster. They even sit in different building. While declaring that processes are done in agile way, they are far from it in practice.

    Advice to Management

Don't declare things, do them. Fast. Otherwise we can see a really big "boom" on the banking market.
