    Pros

Is a international operation with an operation with over 100 years.

    Cons

NO management at all, no HR department no reporting managers, if there is a situation you need to survive by yourself. People working in the comapny with over 30 years with an ancestor way to do the things even worst they allow smoking inside the building.

    Advice to Management

I don't know how people without management skills achieve management position.

I have been working at Swisher International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Swisher can be a great company to work for.

    Good hours
    Holidays off
    Good Pay
    Cafe on site
Credit Union on site(open 3 days wk)
    Yearly Bonus in December
    Lots of good people

    Cons

Department Heads do not work together very well in some cases, in others the buddy system of upper management means you cannot switch departments if one does not want to let you go.
Despite your qualifications or desires, you could get stuck in one spot for a long time.
Most people are friendly, there are a few bad apples as with anywhere I guess.

    Advice to Management

Reward excellence. Don't forget we all have room to improve, even management.

Keep Supervision in the loop before employees know important information would be very helpful. Need for decent pay raises....

    Pros

Meals paid for daily with company amex card.

    Cons

Company car is nice but they take money for gas out of every pay check so don't let that fool you. Micromanaging is an understatement. This company doesn't care about you or your family AT ALL. There is ZERO work/life balance and you have to do a ton of stuff on your personal time. Territories are all way too big. You will be spending a lot more overnights than what they will tell you. One of the biggest tobacco companies yet they pay FAR LESS than ALL of the other companies. You have to work 45 hours a week every week. Everything is tracked on your computer as you have to take pictures at every store so they can see what you did and how long you were there. Everything is data driven and expectations are ridiculous. There is literally nothing good about this company and I strongly encourage EVERYONE to not work for them. You can find and deserve much better.

    Advice to Management

    Increase pay. Stop micromanaging everything.
