    Pros

Great work life balance and a really good management team

    Cons

There is a really high turnover rate

    Advice to Management

Retain good employees and make the company desirable to top tier talent.

    Pros

The company has a good repertoire with its longtime customers, and makes for a friendly experience for them.

    Cons

Loved working here in the beginning, but the company culture quickly went downhill. Upper management became distrustful or practically everyone and made the environment uncomfortable to work in. Slim to no chance of upward mobility and no pay increases.

I worked at Swiss Farms full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Making awesome customer connections in many ways. You learn about people's entire families, I miss that the most!

    Cons

    Company is very youth driven..
Unless you are a high school/college student working whilst studying this is NOT a career stop!

    Advice to Management

Make a MUCH more defined effort to lessen the level of young employees per location in exchange for responsible adults!

I worked at Swiss Farms part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Customers were okay, management was light, sales were fun.

    Cons

Almost everyone I worked with was hooked on some type of a drug. Upselling at a store where mainly food stamps were used was annoying. Products were almost never fresh. PAY WAS HORRIBLE. NEVER GOT A RAISE EVER AND I WORKED THERE FOR 4 YEARS

    Advice to Management

    Get new management.

    Cons

    Sometimes difficult but otherwise enjoyable

  8. "Great, Local Company"

I worked at Swiss Farms full-time

    Pros

I received a phone call to interview the day after I applied. I accepted the job offer and it was a great starting point. I learned a lot and worked with some great people.

    Cons

Within a small company there is not much room for movement up the corporate chain. The pros outweigh the cons at Swiss.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Swiss Farms full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

autonomy- as long as you adhere to certain guidelines, you have the freedom to run your store like your own business
effort/reward- lots of opportunities to see the fruits of your labor, have your voice heard and make a difference throughout the company

    Cons

at the mercy of the weather, always multi tasking, ultimately the manager is on call to handle problems or call outs or any issues that arise

    Advice to Management

Stay organized! Know what needs to be completed each day when you start. Be clear and specific with your staff members. Try to think like a teenager would, especially with something new or making changes.
