      Interesting Job

      Pros

This job is interesting especially for those who like aviation. Also, this place is unique in that there are employees from all over the world working here. The individuals I worked with are what kept me from quitting this job. It's really cool to see international trade first hand.

      Cons

The biggest con of Swissport at O'hare is its management. Management made no effort to engage with its frontline employees. On several occasions, he walked through the office or warehouse floor and only spoke to his direct reports. Management needs to realize they are not above the other humans that work here. The management is 100% reactive. They do nothing to facilitate process improvement or treat employees well. Their apathy toward frontline employees was apparent within a few months of starting the job. Another con is that there is not much room for career growth here.

      Pros

Health insurance like United healthcare is available when you work with Swissport. You can visit eyes doctors, dentists, physicians and so on with the insurance. It can cover most and even all the cost of these health services.

      Cons

Salary is not high. And sometimes the work shift is inconvenient, so you will spend a lot of time and money on public commutation if you don't drive a car.

      Pros

There are none. This job is absolutely horrible. The mana garment is bad and the turnover rate is very very high

      Cons

The management doesn’t care about anyone. They will not accommodate your needs and they are unwilling to negotiate anything. Please don’t go here
