I have been working at Symantec as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Learning CA/B forum guidelines and policies for SSL certificates. The co-workers are great and supportive because we are all on the same boat.

    Cons

The job itself as a contractor. Very little communication between contractor and manager. Uncertainty on job performance. More of a call center environment where everything you do is tracked. Very little opportunities for job advancement unless you call being converted as a full time employee as one of them.

    Advice to Management

A change in policy is needed to better communicate between contractors and managers.
