    Pros

I absolutely enjoy working here- the culture is unlike anywhere I have ever worked! The company keeps you informed about their progress continuously. Everyone is very warm and welcoming; you feel like you are all working toward the end goal, one big team!

    Cons

It would be awesome if we could buy a up to a week of vacation like other corporations offer.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!

    Great teamwork and technical staff

    Cons

Workloads not equally distributed, sometimes the work was done by noon.

    Advice to Management

Don't offer someone a pay increase if they give notice, it's an insult.

I have been working at Symetra full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing co workers, 10 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays.

    Cons

Annual bonuses are low, a lot of managers are inexperienced and have difficulty with communication. The salary range is below expected. If you receive a raise don't expect it to be sufficient, you will be disappointed. The annual bonus was only .25 cents more per hour....Im not sure how this is supposed to keep employees satisfied....especially if one is providing above average work.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest creating a not so corporate enviroment. Being such a large office filled with cubicles it would be nice to feel a little closer. Most meetings are Webex and don't really need to get out of my desk much. The work is very repetitive and their isn't any personal touches to the business we provide.

    Pros

Really good work-life balance in most parts of the company. Flexible hours allow you to make your own schedule. Everyone is very nice top to bottom. The CEO and his Sr. Leaders are down to earth and approachable. There are lots of classes offered to learn about the business as well as professional development opportunities. Overall, a really great place to work.

    Cons

So far, so good! No real cons that impact work satisfaction significantly.
