I have been working at Symphony Teleca full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible timings
    Work from home
    Good colleagues
Challenging work ( this depends on the project & manager)
    Food coupons.
    Tax Benefits

    Cons

Salary in not in par as per industry standards.
No onsite opportunity if projects are driven completely offshore.

    Advice to Management

Please increase the salaries of employees as per technical experience and not based on CTC of previous employer. I have seen people of same experience from X company having more CTC than people from Y company, even though the nature of work is same and both are equally productive.

I worked at Symphony Teleca full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Nothing great about this place.

    Cons

This company is run by the same incompetent people who almost sank Aricent Technologies. The upper management are old cronies from Aricent. Worse still, the middle management is corrupted by people who are friends / relatives from upper management. These managers are incompetent, unethical, and think that fooling clients is their privilege. And not to mention the trouble the hard working employees have to face if their Managers whimsical desires are not fulfilled.

    Advice to Management

No advice can be given to thieves

    Pros

    “Working Here is Psychological Torture”

    Cons

Worst company to work for as Engineers. you are considered as a contractual resource rather than a software engineers.
Manager driven and manager has more power. All are depends on your manager. No hike for last 2 yrs. You should say 'yes' for what ever manager says. Else you won't get any hike for sure. Manager does not know how to run a project. Non technical manager won't understand any technical issues. HR can't take any decision and they needs to depend / obey with the BU Directer.

    Advice to Management

Shut down the company if you don't know how to behave to your employees

I worked at Symphony Teleca full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Staying away from this company is a biggest pros. Trust me you'll save yourself from a disaster.

    Cons

Lame policies for bench staffs - Free pool of Engineers are gradually sinking due to HR threatening to resign them.
Miss management is all over - No career growth to new joiner and all gocs only run by few old people managers and it's like family biased business where they never allow to grow inside the company.

JOB INSECURE - Many of the Principle Engineer to Lead Developers let go in term of no enough projects to deploy them. If they say that project is long enough, don't trust them. They recently fired few of engineers in cost cutting and want you to handle 2-3 people task in single hand.

Work overloaded - Almost project are ramping down slowly and engineers are leaving, so get ready to have weekends loaded work.

No good hikes - 3-4% average you may get.
