Pros
Good company outlook but it is better to be a stockholder than employee.verse and interesting technologies
Cons
3 layoffs in the last 24 months. CEO is doing everything to maximize stock price which benefits the senior management but he is doing this by cutting staff and decreasing bonuses and benefits.

Pros
Exciting technology and company has benefited from boom in smartphones- they did very well in 2009. Run loosely like a startup with parties and socials. Direct managers are among the nicest people to work for if you are fortunate enough to be placed with the right one. Very innovative company.
Cons
Difficult to get recognition. Even when accomplishments are noticed by senior management, rewards are few. Compensation is generally low. HR needs significant work and turnover has gotten very high. Hours can be long versus the compensation.

Hesitant for new technology or product development
Apr 25, 2023 - Director of Engineering in San Jose, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The company is profitable with its existing product portfolio. Good and safe work environment.
Cons
Too much hesitation in going after new technologies/product development. Keeps canceling new product developments thus demotivating engineering teams. Management keeps looking for products with short-term returns and thus dont have any leadership products/technology. Senior management is mediocre and does not show respect for technically strong employees.

If you don't want to grow then this is good company.
Cons
No clear Policy. Top management is in confused state. There is no clear Road map even for the next six month. Local dominance is more. No equal opportunity. those who are close to senior management get hike.

Pros
- most of the people are great to work with - new executives are bringing in fresh ideas and changes - great office, clean, lots of natural light - lots of very very smart people who have been here a long time and are willing to teach - not as many politics at the VP-level and below.
Cons
- many previous executives were brought in by the CEO. they wasted money and resources with no recourse. CEO blindly trusted them. - CEO thinks tacking on new companies, instead of changing existing culture/improving existing products is the only way to move forward. - lack of interest by senior management across the board. they seem tired. - lack of understanding on how to improve employee morale and get people interested in working again.
