I worked at Synchronoss full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice location and could work from him although most people didn't know we did that.

    Cons

Seems obvious that HR are posting positive reviews - be aware when reviewing. Layoffs based on acquisition. Not stable. Company is undergoing a takeover - likely for more layoffs. Steer clear is my advice.

    Advice to Management

    Get some.

I worked at Synchronoss as a contractor

    Pros

Nothing is really coming to mind with them. Maybe it was the decent computers they gave to us contractors.

    Cons

Told we should not worry about our open ended contracts they bought out from Verizon. 1 week later the team of 10 contractors who just joined are given a 1 week notice. The head guys said in meeting after meeting we have nothing to worry about the SYNC needs our team.

They seem like they are all about that bottom $.

Poor leadership from the top down

    Lack of communication

    Advice to Management

    Communication

    Pros

Are there any that I can write? NO!!

    Cons

Don't expect to have any work/life balance at this place, if you are told that during an interview, don't believe in it. You can get a call from your manager at midnight for production support. Production support takes place very often too. They don't compensate the hours you put for the production support either.

    Advice to Management

Value the employee, they have a life too.

I have been working at Synchronoss full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a paycheck & they provide free parking.

    Cons

You would be hard pressed to find a worse company to work for in the Lehigh Valley. Employees don't matter to this company, only profit matters. Professional, educated employees are forced to work long hours, with no support from management. The managers here are failures at other companies that have landed here and take out their aggression on direct reports. Inappropriate comments are made to women and it's tolerated. If you have any feeling of self worth, don't apply here as the place will break you down. And if you need to see a doctor due to health issues caused by work, be prepared to take personal time. Even though you've worked a 60 hour week, anytime to take care of yourself is a luxury. When God judges how we have treated our fellow human beings, the managers here have a lot to explain.

    Advice to Management

As the company is for sale, sell it to a company with a good reputation and retire. At a minimum, sign yourselves up for people management training.
