I have been working at Synechron full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They prefer to hire fresh graduates. Very involved in after work activities for the employees to get to know each other and "bond". They keep the kitchen stocked with food.

    Cons

No work life balance. Expected to work late, weekends, and through lunch without any overtime benefits of doing so. Poorly planned training. Expect you to know how to do everything walking through the door.

    Advice to Management

    Fix the Cons

I have been working at Synechron as a contractor

    Pros

    HR team is ok.
    Salary comes on time.

    Cons

Team Managers are more of dictators who do not encourage any idea other than their idea.
Every single improvement suggested, is taken under ego and unnecessary emails are escalated.
Managers here have 0 management skills.
    Contractors are treated as beggars.
Once hired, you need to work extra hours without getting paid (for contractors)
Managers can WFH 3-4 days a week but contractors cannot for even a single day.
Contractors are not allowed to interact with client.
Managers ego conflict is a lot and every single disagreement is taken personally which even leads to breakage of contract.
Managers will promise something to client which will be insanely absurd and totally horrible but you have to do that in time frame which will have never ever been discussed with you.
Even after work, reviews given to different companies are horrible. "NEVER GIVE SYENCHRON MANAGER's REFERENCE ANYWHERE. THEY ALWAYS PROVIDE HORRIBLE FEEDBACK EVEN AFTER SAYING THAT THEY WILL GIVE GOOD FEEDBACK".

Come here to work only iff you have no where else to go!!

    Advice to Management

    Teach managers :
    1) Management skills
    2) Listen to others
    3) Respect contractors
    4) Stop spoon feeding your knowledge because everyone knows something good.
    5) Mostly BOSS is not always Right.
    6) Stop being extremely egoistic
    7) Keep professional and personal life apart
    8) maintain healthy work environment rather than scrutinizing every single thing which is not as per the manager.
    9) Stop fooling clients with the false and absurd ideas

I worked at Synechron full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They love helping students right out of college begin their careers. Training in India is a bunch if fun and a once in a lifetime experience. The skills you learn here are extremely valuable. Startup culture and they have the motto 'work hard party harder'.

    Cons

You have to work on the client site and the client will not always treat you well. Lots of the tech the client uses is outdated and can limit your future opportunities. Pay becomes an issue about a year into the program and other companies in the charlotte area can offer much more.

    Advice to Management

It makes no sense to stay if the company across the street can offer more compensation and better environment, become more competitive in pay and let us know about future plans before the one year mark, especially for developers.

    Cons

Project and clients list seems to be stagnant over the years now. Need to work more on sales. Other than that all good

    Advice to Management

Need to work more on sales pitch

I have been working at Synechron full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Growth Opportunities, since the company is growing
    Onsite assignments opportunities
    Good certification policy

    Cons

No long term projects, so be ready to move across US
Ask you to accept any role after the assignment is complete
Sends you back to india after 1-2 months of bench
not well structured account management, account managers given too much control, no questions asked.

    Advice to Management

Not well structured account management, account managers given too much power and control, no questions asked.
Organize Accounts to be more process oriented, most of the perks is on Account managers discretion so not everyone gets the benefits.
Company is going in licking mode, whereas it was talent recognition oriented. Do something fast.

I have been working at Synechron full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great learning, very good pay even for someone who at the start of their career, very good place to learn the corporate way of working, ideal size to start work life

    Cons

Can have more processes and diligence in following them

    Advice to Management

Everything look fine so no real advice but just one thing would be that they can have a internal defined structure/set processes in every department and stick with it

I have been working at Synechron full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have really enjoyed working here.. huge opportunities to move up if you produce results, very open culture. Management is very understanding and open to new ideas. Has a start-up feel-like environment. Young company and friendly employees/co-workers

    Cons

Just some communications between managers.. so not for the type of person that expects constant communication to get things done.

    Advice to Management

Just fix on the communication aspect so everyone is clear and on the same page
