    Pros

Syneos is good for the contract world. The pay is competitive.

    Cons

Health Insurance is expensive and they give Paid Time Off which encompasses all time off vs vacation time and sick time.

    Advice to Management

    Mirror the clients time off.

I have been working at Syneos Health Commercial Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working in a contract exposes you to the pharmaceutical company you’re contracted with and this allows you to learn about the company and see if it’s a place you may like to work.

    Cons

As a contract job, this company just lets you go, and your salary, bonus and benefits end abruptly- usually 2 weeks. As you see the contract you are working on coming to a close you have to actually quit and then reapply and interview to go to a different contract. They do not keep you employed when contracts end.

    Advice to Management

As contracts end, there should be a way to help move people to new contracts without having them have to be unemployed and go through the entire hiring process again.

    Pros

Decent pay for Pharma reps. Company car, and they mostly leave you alone.

    Cons

Benefits could be better. Way too many systems in place. Millions of passwords to remember. All contracts are different. Feel like you have very few rights as an employee if contract ends.

    Advice to Management

Do more to help your reps in times of severance. Give better holiday schedule and PTO. The Health insurance options are awful, a big company could do so much better.

I worked at Syneos Health Commercial Solutions full-time

    Pros

The only thing I can say about this company is that I am not there anymore.

    Cons

The management cannot be trusted. They give you no training, no 1 on 1 and shovel everything down including their job to the people working and training their staff.

    Advice to Management

    Get better managers!

I have been working at Syneos Health Commercial Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

We are offered mostly the same benefits as our base (non Syneos) counterparts which makes this particular contract very enticing, Syneos mgr lets us run our territories as we see fit- very hands off, we are able to take advantage of ESPP, company matches 401k contributions

    Cons

Ridiculously low pay for demanding amount of work. Not sure if a 30% pay differential between Syneos rep and base (non Syneos) rep is standard, but it’s pretty demeaning and shows how little the company values its employees.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and try to think outside the box when conversation turns to inadequate pay.

    Pros

NY office - fun office culture, work hard play hard attitude, free lunch

    Cons

Internal politics sometimes got in the way of good work. Not a lot of room for growth.
