    I have been working at Syneron Candela full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Work at customers location traveling directly from home offers an autonomous work environment. Every couple of years new products added providing a varied and challenging work load. Keeps me on my toes technically.

    Cons

    Overtime is only 1/2 normal hourly rate. I have to sell service contracts, which I hate to do. If you fly to another location and work all day they expect you to fly home that night and drive to another job the next morning. Travel time would be nice, 8 hours of sleep shouldn't be a luxury.

    Advice to Management

    When the economy tightened up raises went away it would be fantastic if they came back with some consistency.

    Close to home was the only pro!

    Cons

    Fighting among peers & departments is a daily occurrence. Overworked & under paid. If you don't speak Hebrew your looked upon as an outcast.

    Advice to Management

    Treat employees better with pay raises, quarterly bonuses and adding staff. Speak English, this is America!

    Pros

    Relaxed atmosphere, the rest of the pros have been taken away which were free lunches, snacks in the break rooms, no longer have time to take lunch, working 12 hour days almost daily.

    Cons

    Overbearing work load, no pay raises, no bonuses, no lunches, no praise ever, just expected to take on more work that is impossible to finish. Job has caused several employees health issues due to the high stress work environment on a daily basis. Expected to carry the whole work load when someone is not performing well at their job. Good employees expected to carry the work load of others that make mistakes.

    Great environment
    Coworkers are excellent
    Free lunch on Fridays
    Very relaxed atmosphere
    Good benefits
    Great starting company for the college grad.

    Lack of promotions
    Pay is sub par
    though is not necessary
    monotonous

    Advice to Management

    Service technicians only stay for the great atmosphere, which by the way is unmatched. If you want to retain service technicians pay adequately for the position.

    Free catered lunch every Friday. It pays the bills.

    Cons

    No real room for career advancement. Tasks become repetitive. Regularly asked to do things beyond scope of job requirements.

    Need to better compensate employees for their hard work and dedication.

    Pros

    Free lunch Fridays with a variety of favorites pick out by the social committee team
    Free snacks and coffee is brewed before start of shift.

    Cons

    Lack of raises & praises by management. Very low compensation to techs compare to other companies of the same field and they also get most of the work load.
    Lack of communication & the organization is very disorganized in terms of leadership, support to(customers or employees), training, and inventory control.
    Sales team can be outright rude to employees from other departments.

    Advice to Management

    Learn what's going on a day to day basis what a tech has to deal with in terms of reparing, troubleshooting, customer supporting, and frustrating to find out they're not getting the compensation they deserve.

    Great co-workers. Career advancement opportunities. Great devices and meetings to spend time with physician

    Lack of organization. Lack of training program and support. Lack of communication in a timely manor by numerous employees

    Company is currently working on putting a better training/support system in place which is needed. Clarification needs to be better on how to get to next level

    They have a lot of quality products. There are some great reps that work for the company and you'll find strong ethics at the sales rep level.

    Cons

    Manage your expectations for what you think your comp will be. Always behind the times with launching new technology. Poor and slow marketing efforts compared to the rest of the industry.
