I have been working at Syniverse full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Leadership is doing what they say they will.
Most everyone is making a concerted effort to do their part and contribute.
Everyone (especially sales) understands what it is going to take to grow and succeed.
This company is positioned in the right industry and has a unique competitive advantage that if leveraged correctly, can write their own success story.

    Cons

Still some naysayers around that can poison the positivity.
The transformation is complex, slow and requires some patience.
Finance department still operates like a 30 year old company.

    Advice to Management

Stay the course. Do what you say. Fail fast when products are not adopted into the market and heavily promote the successful ones.

    Pros

    Above market average salary.
    Solid benefits & 401K
    Work from home flexibility.
    Casual work environment.
Some of the nicest colleagues you will ever meet.

    Cons

The legacy business is dying faster and faster. Senior leadership somehow sells Carlyle on a new "savior product" before the end of each year.

There are generational gaps across all areas of the company and no training programs in place to accomodate the high turnover within the business.

    Advice to Management

Pray that Carlyle will continue to look the other way while you play catch up.
