    Pros

Syniverse is a great place to work. Although I have been here for a short amount of time, I was able to see the old Syniverse and the new. I am very excited about where Syniverse is going and we have a great team leading the way.

    Cons

    Nothing at the moment.

I worked at Syniverse full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

We had a great team where dev, PM, and QA worked harmoniously to strive for utmost quality in products. Dedication and passion were second to none

    Cons

Change of CEO every two year or so to help with attrition. Management team had no clue how much work was involved and re-prioritize goals and objectives around at their own pleasure.

    Advice to Management

When goals are set initially, have check points in place to see if every project team does them. If no one does them, then you know you are talking fluff and the goals are lofty and unreachable.

    Pros

The people I worked with were great and made the job one I enjoyed.

    Cons

They do RIF at least 2 or more times a year. You NEVER feel your job is protected. Company doesn't care about employees.

I worked at Syniverse full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Innovative place to work. Good place to learn about all aspects of telecommunications.

    Cons

Senior Management continue to perform lay-offs every year instead of looking for other ways to save money. The company spends money on expensive multi-day leadership meetings in other cities, then proceeds with mass lay-offs.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees at the bottom, which are the ones that know the job's pros and cons

I have been working at Syniverse full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Competitive Pay, Great Benefits, Advancement, Great Associates

    Cons

    I cannot think of any

    Advice to Management

I seen a lot of negative comments on Syniverse, however, I feel that overall this company is a good company. Yes, I have read and seen layoffs. There are many companies that layoff employees. Currently, GM is doing a layoff (unfortunately it happens with any company). I have been with the company for a while now and I feel that it is a great place to work. Everyone is knowledgable, willing to help you learn other positions (cross train), and they are always willing to help you advance your career.

I worked at Syniverse full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Colleagues are okay, good people.

    Cons

Very unstable company a layoff city, do NOT believe any of the positive comments about this company most are fake created by company HR.

I do not recommend unless you want to be out of a job soon. This company is heavily in debt focused on sales and nothing else.

Seen so many layoffs, it is not worth recommending to anyone, why they recently announced 15% staff reductions and this has been happening annually around the holidays. This company has an extremely high turn over rate, well known and documented everywhere, look at Indeed comments look at anywhere you want, just Google it.

DO NOT even think about working here, don't walk but RUN away! You have been warned.

    Advice to Management

All I can say is having Syniverse on a resume will not help much finding another job.
