I have been working at Synovus part-time

    Pros

Health Insurance, 401k, low pressure, coworkers, off on weekends, values.

    Cons

Technology needs a major upgrade, too many different systems, too much to click and go threw in order to find something simple, training needs to be improved, communication need improvement, loan department need more workers and needs training at communications and loan time frame, need more workers in the branch, at least have an assistant manager.

    Advice to Management

Technology needs to be simplified, spend the money on better software. Assistant managers need to come back or hire more full time employees, make sure employees are highly trained in operations.

I worked at Synovus full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fellow team members were nice, the facilities were new or recently renovated, ample vacation and personal days off, convenient work locations, community-focused with a small-town feel.

    Cons

Some poor middle management and senior management didn't do much about it, under-staffed, frequent on-call, expected to work two or three weekends a month, minimal training, difficult to get funding, numerous active projects on the books dependent on the same 15 engineers, lots of legacy applications.

    Advice to Management

Investigate the root cause of high turnover (hint: it's middle management), and pay attention to the the multiple consultants telling of your significant under-staffing.
