I worked at Syntel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good salary for new joiners

    Cons

    Confused Top management
Incapable middle management. It happens when a company promotes on the basis of stay.
Regional lobby. Speak native in meetings. Managers do encourage the same.
    No work life balance.
They have a bond in every relocation return full if stay less than a year. That means no matter when you leave Syntel if your last relocation less than a year you have to pay the whole relocation cost.
HR makes false promises verbally. Be careful. Take all in writing.
No encouragement, appreciation. Just thankless job. This shows the culture of the company.

After working in Wipro IBM I somewhere felt client also doesn't have much respect for Syntel.

    Search in google"SYNTEL BLACKLISTED COMPANY"

    Advice to Management

Set some realistic target. If a company remains less than a billion since its foundation how come it become 2 billion in 2 years. Only an immature management can set target like this.
What should I advice to such management??
Its already gone for a toss

I have been working at Syntel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great for individuals starting with no prior experience. The campus hire program is a really great place to start right after college. It's great that they try to provide career starting points for individuals right out of school.

    Cons

Very little organization or communication. HR processes are dysfunctional and confusing. Pay rate is below average for the industry. The company values clients more than employees and it shows.

    Advice to Management

Make your employees a priority and focus on training and on boarding.

I worked at Syntel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free paychecks while sitting on the bench for 6 months.

    Cons

Lack of management, they expect you to know everything when the position is entry level. Training is when you sit on the computer and teach yourself with no guidance. When you get place on a project, theres no support. The HR consider us as business, were here to make a profit. There's no culture, no communication between HR or project manager. Worst company I have ever work for. almost 99% Senior Leader are Indians, so career growth is really low.

    Advice to Management

Change CEO who willing to focus on building a diversity and culture.
