I worked at Syntel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

None whatsoever. How they keep clients ( which have been declining) is a wonder. Amex account, one of their largest, is moving Syntel business to other vendors after years of high-margin profits with no investment. You reap what you sow, Ba-Rat.

    Cons

Pompous, old yes-men recycled from one poor performance to another.- and failing. Stock has crashed. Only female on the Board is the Founders wife!!!!

    Advice to Management

No point in giving advice to a narrow-minded failing set of morons.

I have been working at Syntel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Better opportunities for each employee and good learning scopes for a fresher as well as lateral. Growth is good at Syntel.

    Cons

Working hours and expectation are too high from the employees.
All employees are stretching to fulfill the requirement and delivery on time.

    Advice to Management

Resourcing should be managed proactively. Additional buffers should be added to all the verticals and projects.

I worked at Syntel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nothing - except that they ll give you good package when you join

    Cons

You won't do what you are hired for. No salary revisions. They layoff without notice. Managers are jokers. Who would stay in such a company if they have talent.

    Advice to Management

I don't think they would listen. A lot of managers sit and do nothing.
