    Approves of CEO

I worked at Sypris Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Sypris works hard to do the right thing by their employees and customers. They strive to be a world class operation given their size and industry.

    Cons

They operate in an extremely competitive environment and it can be very stressful.

    Advice to Management

Once leaders have proven themselves with results, trust them more.

    Cons

Small, rigid management hierarchy, limited room for upward mobility

    Advice to Management

The company is small, so take time to invest in new hires

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Technology variations via plants and work cells, long-term products, technology growth via older equipment, and customer base established.

    Cons

With slow economy CAPEX has been limited for advncing technology. Up and down cycles of economy has layoffs and reductions in benefits, with minimal capital to spend.
