    Sypris works hard to do the right thing by their employees and customers. They strive to be a world class operation given their size and industry.

    Cons

    They operate in an extremely competitive environment and it can be very stressful.

    Advice to Management

    Once leaders have proven themselves with results, trust them more.

    The company is small, so take time to invest in new hires

    Pros

    Great co workers. Management is kind an caring for the most part.

    Cons

    Company in financial distress. Benefits are not great. Only one raise and 3 pay cuts. No long term future with this company.

    Pros

    The pay. Lots of ot (whether you want it or not)

    Cons

    Not willing to educate workers to help advance company. To many snakes as management. Lack of training for new employees which leads to high turn over. Just don't waste your time here current management is hell bent on driving this place into the ground

    Advice to Management

    Stop and hire educated individuals who can successfully run a business not lose millions of dollars.

    Pros

    Co-workers are very helpful. Pay is fair.

    Cons

    Management teams are not on the same page. Too much direction from too many people. Management seems to not trust employees to get the job done.

    Advice to Management

    Stop threatening behavior and work with your subordinates to get the job done.

    Pros

    Technology variations via plants and work cells, long-term products, technology growth via older equipment, and customer base established.

    Cons

    With slow economy CAPEX has been limited for advncing technology. Up and down cycles of economy has layoffs and reductions in benefits, with minimal capital to spend.

    Many opportunities for improvement are available.

    Cons

    Job security is very low. Individual contribution is expected, but the individual's control to make decisions, changes, or assign resources to a project are very limited.

    Advice to Management

    Work with employees in a non-threatening manner. Assign resources to projects in order of priority. Don't start too many projects without proper resources available to finish them. Empower people to make the decisions they are paid to make.
