    I worked at Sysco full-time

    Pros

Opportunity to make good money, great benefits

    Cons

Overwork due to staffing issues, loss of incentive pay from issues or errors that have nothing to do with you i.e. error from a missing item that you selected and placed on the pallet but since the cube height was too big to fit in the truck the loader downstacked it to the wrong place now you have an error, being written up and losing incentive pay for not maintaining 100% every single day regardless of whether your week still ended up at 120%

I have been working at Sysco full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits. Good salary. Work life balance can exist if time is managed properly.

    Cons

Doesn't really seem like there's a lot of room for growth. Communication between Management seems to be inconsistent.

    I worked at Sysco full-time

    Pros

Decent compensation, great benefits, stock purchase plan, great industry training, flexible working hours if you manage your time correctly.

    Cons

Demanding hours at times, depending on your location, weekend routes may need attention on Saturdays & Sundays

    Advice to Management

Put great managers in place and train them to be great leaders, always look to promote from within first and show your team they are appreciated. Open and honest dialogue within teams should be encouraged to retain good people. When I was at Sysco, about 50% of my 12 person region talked amongst the group privately about interviewing elsewhere and wanting to leave. Six of twelve. That's a very low satisfaction rate. Open conversation may have prevented some losses on our team.
