45 hr a week Contract but be under no illusion thats the minimum you will work. Some weeks your not even getting minimum wage if you work out your salary per hour.

    I worked at T J Morris full-time for less than a year

    Pros

the staff (non-management) nothing else comes to mind

    Cons

abysmal company to work for. left my old job of 5 years for new prospects. after the 3 weeks training was told i would not be offered the job due to not knowing their draconian rules/ policies/ processes inside and out. forget all the transferable skills you've learnt over the years as its of no use in HB, a slate and chalk is more advanced - salaried & 45hr contract but expect to work over 50hrs pw for free, whilst...

    Pros

Bonuses are good when you get them. Great people to work with. Your store is your own - no planograms.

    Cons

A lot of responsibility for the wage. Bonuses are quarterly and are not guaranteed. Don’t get paid extra hours at senior management.

I worked at T J Morris for more than 3 years

    Pros

Quarterly bonus, but targets were often unrealistic . . nothing else really... backwards management style poor training poor attention to health and safety dispute death at head office and then releasing cctv blaming them for it

    Cons

Supervisor on annual salary of £18,00 but forced to work overtime and not paid a penny extra meaning part time till staff earned more.. won't even shop there after how I was treated often pay dived by hours meant you were on less than minimal wage.. managers and area managers didn't care

    Advice to Management

Interpersonal skills and empathy wouldn't be a miss
