I have been working at T-Mobile full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Large company with great benefits. Somewhat flexible schedule if this is your first job.

    Cons

As the less-than-professional title alludes to, the company is pure retail. They present to the team , that they want to be solution sellers, but in the end, it is always a race to the bottom. When you do sell solutions, understand that you are going to be the one who supports the customer, nearly single handedly. In the end, the staff is well intentioned. Unfortunately, the pressure, the culture, come down from upper level management and infect the middle management, which means that the sales organization is entirely reactive, rather than strategic.

    Advice to Management

Follow through with the vision that you present. Hire people that come from outside of the organization. Diversify. Listen to professionals. And please, please, please, hire support staff. You are on the right road with the Salesforce. Improve the data going in. And for the love of God, if your employees have a monthly or quarterly quota, stop with the daily, micromanagement, oversight. Your AE's should be making a minimum of $80k. They do not need babysitting,

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Benefits are heavily invested in employees. Perks are great especially if you live somewhere local to an MLB stadium. Pay is fair compared to market competition. Commission is fair and can be lucrative.

    Cons

Some managers shouldn’t have even been hired for the roles they were. Some Segments (retail) isn’t treated fairly with ability to grow. Part Time transitions to Full Time take literal YEARS. Talent retention is low and employee outlook from that perspective is bleak. Some managers on the corporate account executive side are only focused on hitting numbers at all costs - even if that means giving massive credits to new customers and using fake information to activate large accounts. Unless you engage in that behavior - don’t expect to grow your career here.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice Office. Very nice employee phone program.

    Cons

No organization, no territories, expected to be at the office everyday eventhough it is an outside sales position. Very low base compared to other companies.

    Advice to Management

Stop the micromanaging, get rid of the retail teams and divide the stores evently among all AE's.
