    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Enjoyed the people I worked with and the company as a whole. The call center I worked for makes sure we had a fun environment to work in. There were lots of good benefits. Great discount on phone services.

    Cons

No work life balance. Some of the coaches were terrible which is the reason I left. The last coach I had was no good whatsoever.

    Advice to Management

Some of the coaches are terrible! Get rid of them and find some that care about their employees.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits are outstanding at T-Mobile

    Cons

The department would benefit from a more structured environment with a consistent strategy that rewards employees for sales and not the number of calls made

    Advice to Management

Trust in your sales professionals and implement their feedback when restructuring departments

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits great company to work for. You get to have fun at work. Everyone is super chill you can wear whatever to work. Pay ain't bad

    Cons

You are limited on the leads you get 1100 or something like that, but these are all the leads you get during your whole duration with the company. You are allowed to ask for referrals but that's the only other way to grow your leads. The people they told us were the top performers were later fired for fraud. Why do other departments not know the inside sales position exist this was a problem I encountered a lot. Your in direct competition with stores and gen care too for activation. So keep a close eye on those cause they will quickly change the activation to there name. I genuinely believe they are a great company to work for. Why do incoming sales calls not go to Inside Sales reps? Have a round robin system where calls are transferred from last to first. I don't know maybe I'm just lazy.

    Advice to Management

Better define the roll of inside sales and take away from the stores the b2b so it's exclusive to us. I know people in the stores who enter stuff wrong on Salesforce so it don't get to us.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Work-life balance....its a M-F job with weekends off.

    Cons

You can make a lot of money here but its all about cold calling people and bothering them while at home and asking them to spend money. Also, each rep has an account base but that doesn't mean that you are the only one who can sell to them.....Also management here has no strategy....its all about how many dials you make not how many new lines you get

    Advice to Management

Have a strategy and actually give reps advice on positioning skills.....the only advice that leaders have in inside sales is asking reps how many sims can you get today

Find one process stick to it.

Customers, too many people are self-righteous and entitled. It's not hard to deal with, but it does tend to cause massive stress.

I worked at T-Mobile (More than a year)

    Pros

Phone service discount is 75%. Game room and gym on site. Security staff is always nice. HR is great and really listens to their employees.

    Cons

Management wants to hear your ideas but that's about it. Benefits are OK. Expect to be billed for any benefit you use. Go to the doctor, pay your co-pay and get a bill in the mail. Go to the dentist and just bring a credit card. The insurance does not cover a lot. Pay scale is very Low! An extreamly unprofessional working environment.

    Advice to Management

Move your talent to differnt positions if there new position is not a good fit. Making their life miserable is not fair and makes for a hostile working environment.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -Great Pay and Benefits
    -Good training system
-Incentives are lavish for the top reps
    -Not typical "stodgy" corporate environment
    -CEO is entertaining

    Cons

-Volume and speed are paramount to customer service
-Training does not prepare you for the volume oriented production environment
-Team Leads and Coaches are too aggressive in their coaching and often ineffective
-Constant system issues that prevent required volume
    -Not a customer oriented company

    Advice to Management

This company needs to focus less on getting customer's off the phone and more on actually servicing the customer's needs. Also, the goals that are set are unrealistic for most employees and that is why there is a high turnover rate.
