I have been working at T-Mobile part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great atmosphere & money. There are plenty opportunities are there to grow within the company. They love promoting from within.

    Cons

Learning about the phones. The first month was pretty hard on me. Getting used to the systems and rate plans were a little bit of a challenge too.

    Advice to Management

The pressure should not be overwhelming. Hitting quota is not impossible but dont add too much pressure the reps know they have quota.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great environment, fun people and lots of great benefits. You get paid hourly plus commission and I really love the company and how great team effort is of value to them. This is the type of company where you would work at for years if you do get the job.

    Cons

The interview process is way too long and they ask the same questions in the last two interviews. This position is not for people looking to smoothly transition in between jobs since the interview process alone was almost 4 weeks. It takes a lot of time and you don’t even know if having so many interviews will get you a job offer. You also have to give three weeks from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday of your time for (paid) training, no excuses! So if you have responsibilities that you cannot get out of during that time don’t even waste your time applying, this is not the position for you.

    Advice to Management

Speed up the process. It should be two interviews and the back ground check back to back. Take no longer than two weeks after the initial contact email or phone call you receive from T-Mobile. Also be more flexible with the training hours. Some people have school, house responsabilities like baby siting, etc that is not that easy to get out of.
