I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Commission, salary, spiffs, bonus, perks & benefits are all great! Moving up the latter is easy, just let your store Manger know you're interested in moving up and they will help you move up. My peer started as a sales rep and moved up to store manager in 3 years. Now I'm in the (store) Manager Development Program to become a store manager. Enjoy to be a part of the UnCarrier Magenta Movement.

    Cons

Retail hours can suck, but the commission money makes up for it! Never could afford yearly vacations until I worked here, and do twice a year now!
Some store managers are not the greatest. This is not T-Mobiles fault. Every manager leads differently. I hated two I had, they lead by fear and motivated by fear. I've transfered 3 times to different stores & districts to find one where I'm happy to work under. Find a store manager who has the same values as you, and you will be happy. Company is great, they just need to align all their store managers to be on the same page. Thank goodness for easily being able to jump around and transfer stores so smoothly! - Thank you T-mobile!

    Advice to Management

Please align all your store managers to have same guidelines and views. And to have them all run the stores the same. Have district managers more involved in knowing how each store below them is running their store (frontline & in back ops). Have District Managers be more communicative to the rsa's in their district. Have DM's reach out to the RSA's for their opinion of store operations and what RSM could do differently at their store. This should be done quarterly not yearly.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great culture, benefits and opportunities to learn and grow. Ample educational opportunities for career expansion including stretch assignments and career field related classes.

    Cons

Some VPs and not great at handling the workload. They have bitten off more than they can chew and Directors, Sr. Managers and their teams end up getting ignored. There are not great amenities and parts of the campus are old and buildings are outdated. Extreme lack of space and seating at HQ.

    Advice to Management

You're doing excellent work and Leadership practices what they preach. I'm happy to work for a company that is inclusive and respectful of everyone's life styles and beliefs. Please take the time to listen to the people at headquarters when they say the parts of the campus are falling apart.
