    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, casual work environment, company going places

    Cons

Managers promote or keep friends, pay is ok. Layoffs of older workers to hire younger workers for less money or contractors. Parking is horrible.

    Advice to Management

Keep employees who do their job and promote from within. Managers need to understand what an employee does..most don't and then are suprised when it's hard to find a replacement for a long time employee that they thought was easy to replace.

    Pros

T-Mobile has great benefits. The standard Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plus an employee stock plan.

    Cons

The CEO should really get a haircut.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working in frontline, I experience all walks of life and have to create a mobile solution for every customer. My management and Sales team are an energetic group. We have amazing benefits with this company. Six years strong!

    Cons

Sometimes worrying about hitting quotas can be stressful. Still attainable.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the energy and positivity that we need to sell our services.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Shaking up the industry, decent benefits overall

    Cons

Pay is below average for the area, Sr. Managers reporting to Sr. Managers, Favoritism plays an integral part in your ability to advance your career.

    Advice to Management

Hire Sr. Managers who actually have the skillset and compassion for being a manager. Sr. Managers reporting to other Sr. Managers causes a severe disconnect between leadership and individual contributors.
Seek out and discourage the favoritism that plagues various teams in the Digital space and reward the people who do a good job. Not just the ones who are favored.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Compensation is good, work life balance is (usually) good, corporate facilities are clean and well kept, teamwork and working with multiple teams is valued.

    Cons

Open seating at corporate facilities makes it hard to concentrate, leadership is often too focused on the bottom line, rather than its employees, needs more of a diverse workforce.

    Advice to Management

Take note when people start to leave a team in droves. Keep in mind that only rewarding people that take part in major projects ignores a lot of your important people. Get rid of the open seating.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Senior leadership and company direction are fantastic. The company is growing like gangbusters and so far seems nowhere near stopping. (It shouldn't, keep growing!)

The benefits package is great, I haven't worked here a year yet and already have enough banked PTO that I was able to go on vacation already.

I feel like my direct manager has my back, and my co-workers are amazing, everyday I'm coming to work with a great set of people and I feel like I'm changing the customer experience for our customers for the better!

    Cons

Parking is a hilarious challenge as someone who doesn't work 9-5. Corporate real estate is trying, and while the new initiatives will probably help a lot of people, it doesn't help my situation, but here's hoping issues will improve.

Initially my salary was a step up from where I came, but it's very expensive to live near HQ (in an attempt to have a work/life balance due to the hellacious commutes in the Puget Sound area) and the decision to move compensation changes to next February was disheartening, seeing the average salaries on here for my job in other local companies is also disheartening as well. I bleed magenta, but I need to pay my bills, and the stock grants are nice and really appreciated, but they won't help me make rent next month!

    Advice to Management

Your salaries need to be competitive or else you may start losing talent.

    Pros

    Good benefits
Nice employees at the lower level
Nice cars for the C level
    good with following Verizon
    Nice facility

    Cons

    Weak management
    Shady behavior and attics issues
    Need to improve communication
    No transparency

    Advice to Management

Stop with the brotherhood and start to recrute real leadership.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work schedule flexibility, work/life balance and a leadership team that values family.

    Cons

Parking is a challenge. For those of us who regularly arrive before 9 there aren't many issues but if you arrive after 9 you will be double parked by a lot attendant or sent away if the garages are full. Contractors must park offsite and take a shuttle in.

    Advice to Management

    Doing a great job!
