I worked at T. Rowe Price full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to grow your career and make a decent living after entry level role. Very collaborative company that truly seeks to put the interest of the clients first. If you are a good networker and network with the "right" people, you will do well.

    Cons

If you are not a good networker beware. Also, you may need to spend as much time ensuring you are telling the right people what you are doing well as well as doing those tasks well.

    Advice to Management

Keep clients first. Focus on not kicking the can down the road - can't do that forever.

I have been working at T. Rowe Price full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management going through thoughtful reorganization and goal setting exercises- gives me faith going forward. Thoughtful and respectful culture. Strong asset management reputation and consistent performance.

    Cons

Role clarity and promotion paths are consistent areas of ambiguity for many. Headwinds from passive mutual funds, open architecture challenges, and DOL regulation. Technology is often a pain point.

    Advice to Management

Set a clear path forward, focusing on talent management, investments in technology, and competitive headwinds and opportunities. Look at what is working at Schwab, etc. Consider robust M&A strategy.

I have been working at T. Rowe Price full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great team members and management. Stress free work environment. This field is requiring at least a twenty word minimum and I don't have any other pros so I'm typing non sense

    Cons

No growth potential in Tampa. Opportunities are given to other site locations due to "staffing needs". Consistently hit with day of mandatory overtime. No communication across all levels.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent and honest with associates. Better communication across levels could be beneficial.

    Pros

Nice people, good pay in investment positions. Good benefits, 401k, health etc.

    Cons

Industry hurt by lower-cost / passive options which likely to be a headwind for growth.
    Location near Harbor not ideal.
