Commercial Customer Service Representative

What’s the best way to have a lack of compensation and incentive conversation in your department? I went above and beyond for years doing extra work, organizations etc and nothing has been reflected in pay. I thought my 5 year was going to finally show something but it did not. I’ve inquired about pay but it’s gotten nowhere.

    Pros

    In every market in which T. Rowe Price operates, employees and management are focused on supporting the local community. Similarly inside the firm, people and teams are generally supportive of one another and the firm's overall objectives.

    Cons

    People are not as open as they should be during meetings, so extra work is required to arrive at a decision, often via additional conversations.

    Pros

    Overall, an excellent company and environment, but your manager and department will have a direct impact on your overall experience. Working in IT, leading edge technologies and the ability to learn many in demand skills such as AWS and other cloud platforms. Competitive pay and bonus. They try to do the right thing, but may chase too many things at once with sometimes unrealistic expectations (which is, honestly, pretty normal in this industry and IT).

    Cons

    You many end up working long hours, weekends and under tight deadlines, but this is normal in IT and your manager and actual department will make a difference. Choose wisely.
