    Collaboration, camaraderie, atmosphere is relaxed and warm, you're not treated as expendable or as a warm body

    In far south San Antonio, in an area that is just beginning to grow so travel time can be longer than preferred

    Kind Professors Good supervisor and management

    Cons

    So many different departments without clearly defined roles. It can be difficult identifying stakeholders in projects, and because of multiple crossovers there is a lot of red tape between organizations and getting things done (more than at other academic institutions). Pay is low
